Ugly Glass & Company in Kansas City, Mo., features handmade and vintage home decor and glass creations in the form of jewelry -- and the name may be misleading. The intricately designed, colorful hand torched glass jewelry and marbles are hand-made in the store.Ugly Glass & Company was created when opportunity knocked, and Jenny and Skip Alexander opened its door in July, 2012. That door was to the cutest 700 square foot store front on the Historic Independence, Missouri Square. It was the perfect starting point for their Locally Made Store Front that included 20 local makers and artists.In July 2014, they moved their store to a 100 + year old warehouse in the Historic West Bottoms in Kansas City, Missouri. Here they have grown from 20 to over 40 vendors and their store is now over 10,000 square feet. The store also now includes vintage pickers who carry all things vintage including records, clothing, and man cave items.

When the Pandemic hit in March 2020, we were forced to close our doors for almost 2 months. During that time we were able to put our Paint & DIY Center products online at: https://ugly-glass-co.myshopify.com/. We continue to add more products to the website as time allows.
